The Grand Troc in your area.
Every Sunday, TopTroc puts residents' unused items back into circulation: a direct swap or a three-way loop, without money. Less waste, more connections between neighbours, and figures to prove it.
What we set up
A Grand Troc with your name“The Grand Troc of the 6th district”, “of your town”: the weekly event carries your area's identity.
Public drop-off pointsDistrict town hall, library, community centre, neighbourhood centre: items pass through places residents know.
An impact reportEvery quarter: items reused, estimated weight of waste avoided, number of residents reached, by neighbourhood.
Why swapping
- It extends the life of items that do not sell: toys, small appliances, childcare equipment, tools, books.
- It reaches everyone, including people who do not buy second-hand. Here, nobody pays and nobody sells.
- It fits into your local waste prevention programme : a practical reuse initiative, measured and visible to residents.
How it happens
- An initial meeting to choose the area (a neighbourhood, district or town) and drop-off locations.
- Launch: communication with residents, using your materials and ours.
- Sunday Grand Trocs continue; we monitor swaps and drop-offs.
- Every quarter, an impact report and a review of next steps.
The pilot takes place in the Bouches-du-Rhône department (13).
